Core Formulations

bullet Products within the core formulation range from 5-15% of L-Ascorbic Acid, Zinc & L-Tyrosine.

bullet Lycopene has been added to several of the products in the core formulation to increase the antioxidant            protection for the skin.

Advanced C Line:

bullet The products with in the Advanced line range from 10-17.5% free form and hydrolyzed L-ascorbic, as well        as, Zinc and L-Tyrosine.

bullet Contains vitamin E.

bullet Contains green tea extract.

bullet Contains additional antioxidants such as: Ergothioneine, Resveratrol, Grape Seed Extract.

bullet pH 3.7 to 3.9.


Advanced C Antioxidants:

bullet Ergothioneine: Natural antioxidant. Present in tissues subject to high antioxidant stress.

bullet Resveratrol: Supports collagen while inhibiting enzymes that degrade collagen.

bullet Grape Seed Extract: protects cells within capillary walls from damage.


Cellex-C Enhancers:

bullet Topical Moisturizers.

bullet Topical Hydrators: Hyaluronic acid: Its consistency and tissue-friendliness allows it to be used in skincare products as an excellent moisturizer. It is one of the most hydrophilic molecules and is commonly known as “nature’s moisturizer”.

bullet Blend of:
       1) vitamin E
       2) Bioflavinoids: contain antioxidant properties.
       3) Gamma Linoleic Acid/ Evening primrose.

bullet Designed to work synergistically with Cellex-C.


Betaplex:

bullet A blend of naturally extracted alpha and beta hydroxy acids:
       1) Alpha Hydroxy Acids:
               a) Glycolic acid from sugar cane.
               b) Citric acid from lemons and oranges.
               c) Malic acid from apples.
               d) Tartaric acid from grapes.
               e) Lactic acid from sour milk.
       2) Beta hydroxys:
               a) Willow bark extract.

bullet Helps stimulate new cells by encouraging old cells to slough off.

bullet pH range 3.2-5.5


Cellex-C Sun Care:

Recent studies suggest that while sunscreens reduce UV induced erythema, they do little to protect skin from free radicals. Sunscreens, even when applied properly block only 55% of free radicals produced by UVA exposure.


Topical application of 10% vitamin C was shown to decrease UVB induced erythema by 52% and the number of sunburns fell by 40% to 60%. (Taken from Procedures in Cosmetic Dermatology-Cosmeceuticals.)
