gloBlush application :
Blush application styles and colors are subject to fashion. Sometimes blush is preferred heavy and bright
in cool colors, while other times it´s light and sheer in warm colors. To keep abreast of change, one has
to watch for new trends in fashion. However, there are a few application techniques that make any
blush application look its best:
Blush Formulations
gloBlush: Greatest diversity of colors and works well on all skin types.
gloCream blush: Ideal for creating a sheer glo- -ing finish on dry skin.
Natural Blush Placement
Blush should appear to come from within the skin, like a natural flush.
To create this look, artists should apply blush only to areas of the cheek that flush, namely the apple.
To locate the apple you have 2 options:
1. Have the person smile. The apple will stick out to the right and left of the nose.
2. Measure down from the center of teh iris to the cheek. The apple falls in-line with the iris.
Corrective Blush Placement
The goal is to use blush placement to create an upward angle.
Blush is placed along the center of the cheekbone up towards the ear.
Blush will be most concentrated on the apple and gradually fade upwards.
This method creates beneficial angles in more mature clients.
