Necessary to support the increased collagen turnover stimulated by ascorbic acid. Assists in the enzymatic process involving collagenase. Necessary for cellular repair and essential to the maintenance of the immune system. Provides anti-inflammatory and healing properties.


bulletWhat is L-Ascorbic Acid?

There is established medical knowledge that L-Ascorbic is the only form that the body can recognize and utilize to stimulate collagen synthesis. A water soluble vitamin that works in the aqueous compartment of the cell. A strong anti-oxidant that neutralizes free radicals.


bulletWhat is L-Tyrosine?

The main function of L-Tyrosine is to regulate the activity of melanin. Enhances the absorption of the L-ascorbic acid and the zinc. This is an important amino acid for promoting cell renewal.


bulletIs Cellex-C pH Perfect?

L-ascorbic acid has maximum skin penetration effect at a pH between 2.0 and 3.9. Cellex-C´s pH is positioned exactly within this range.


bulletWhat is Acne?

There are several types of acne:
       Grade 1: Mostly open comedones, primary consists of blackheads and whiteheads.
       Grade 2: Many closed and opened comedones, pustules and papules. Skin appears bumpy due to the                            closed comedones
              1) Comedo: a plug of oil and sebum within the follicle.
              2) Papules: raised areas on the skin that are generally smaller than one centimeter, typically red, sore                    bump without a whitehead, no puss.
              3) Pustules: a clump of white blood cells that have formed and risen to the surface of the skin.
       Grade 3: Inflamed, reddened skin with a large number of open and closed comedones with many                                      papules and pustules.
       Grade 4: Cystic form of acne displaying the full spectrum of acne lesions including blackheads,                                           whiteheads, papules, pustules, nodules, and cysts.
