We are currently looking for a Accountant for our team.
Summary:
Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets,
liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
Analyzes operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred, to project
future revenues and expenses, using computer.
Develops, maintains, and analyzes budgets, and prepares periodic management reports comparing
budgeted costs to actual costs.
Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries.
Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, amortization and depreciation schedules, and other
financial reports, using calculator or computer.
Reports finances of establishment to management, and advises management about resource utilization,
tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Develops, implements, modifies, and documents budgeting, cost, general, and tax accounting systems.
Predicts revenues and expenditures, and submits reports to management.
Computes taxes owed, ensures compliance with tax payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
Establishes table of accounts, and assigns entries to proper accounts.
Audits contracts, and prepares reports to substantiate transactions prior to settlement.
Prepares forms and procedures for associates performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
Adapts accounting and record keeping functions to current technology of computerized accounting
systems.
Ensures the accurate processing of wage and other commission payments to employees.
Prepares and enters financial data, to include payroll labour and benefits expenses; reimbursement for
expenses; analyzes, reconciles, and balances data processing and electronic time.
Processes all necessary reports for state and federal filing on a quarterly and annual basis.
Reviews and updates employee tax records in accordance with prevailing tax codes.
Ensures strict confidentiality of financial records.
Must have relevant experience.
Must have relevant qualification.
